We VERY highly recommend Dan and could not have been happier with his work!!! We were looking for rather rare traits in our home- 40+acres (with tillable, wooded, and water), less than 35 min commute to UW, and within our budget. We were looking for either vacant land to build a new home, a tare-down house, or one that fit our needs/tastes but not a mediocre home that we wouldn't be happy in. Only about 5-10 properties come on the market per year that might fit our specs. Dan was VERY patient with us over the 2.5+ years it took to find our home and guided us through the process of determining what we really wanted (and didn't want). We've worked with 5 realtors over the years and Dan was by far the best we've seen. He is clearly very knowledgeable about Madison and surrounding markets. Dan was also great at helping us think outside the box such as buying a property with a house we didn't like and jacking the house up and moving it. Dan clearly enjoyed helping us solve the challenges that we had. You could tell he was passionate about helping us find what was best for us, not what was easiest for him. Once we found our home, Dan went above and beyond to answer all of our questions. If he didn't know the answer, he very quickly found someone trustworthy that did. He bent over backwards to help us get an offer submitted, negotiated, and executed very quickly. Dan attended all of the inspections and helped identify issues and solutions. I think owing to Dan's engineering background, he is very good at identifying the root of an issue and can present the facts and possible solutions very clearly. Dan was very prompt with communications and did a great job of keeping all of the necessary activities on track so that everything was ready for closing. He also did a great job of explaining all of the closing documents and disclosures. He is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. Since closing, I have contacted Dan a few times with questions and he has been just as helpful. Overall we very highly recommend Dan to any one looking for any type of property!
